Restoring a freshwater ecosystem while strengthening the local economy
Like many towns and cities throughout the country, unemployment is high in Tetovo and good job opportunities are rare, even for graduates with work experience like Lumi.
UNDP and Tel Aviv’s innovation lab, ‘Creators’, are organizing a hackathon open to all entrepreneurs in the country, inviting talented local companies and entrepreneurs to work on helping overcome local development challenges in need of urgent solutions.
The Lipa Dam is a lifeline for the villagers of Bistrinci, Koresnica and Lipa.
This project worth EUR 2.3 million is funded by the European Union.
The Lab engages citizens in policy and service design and delivery.
Investing in protected areas will benefit local communities.
